In and out of the office, all of our advisors have been hard at work throughout the past year. Our yearly success is evident in our exclusive listings and industry involvement outside of the day to day office routine. As a firm, we get energized when our advisors are asked to contribute their market knowledge and expertise, as well as represent Shane.
Jeff Enck, Vice President, was invited to participate in the annual Shopping Center Business and Southeast Real Estate Business Atlanta roundtable. This annual Atlanta Retail roundtable was hosted by Nelson, Mullins, Riley and Scarborough. Among the few invited to sit in on this discussion, Enck made several insightful comments in regards to the current market as well as importing capital internationally.
“Unanchored shopping centers are just as hot and in some cases hotter from a cap rate perspective as they were in the peak market in 2007. A lot of them are seen as safer now because they are post-REO and the rents are now at lower levels. However, for properties with credit tenants, we are absolutely seeing record cap rates and almost no resistance to price per square foot barriers of $400, $500, and $600 per square foot.”
Andy Sutton, Vice President, is a top producer, selling many notable properties across the state. Being a top producer results in a tight schedule, but that does not stop him from volunteering and mentoring local children. Recently, he has been asked to serve on the Atlanta Board of Commercial Realtors 2015 Education Committee. The Education Committee organizes, plans, and promotes monthly educational programs. With topics ranging within all aspects off commercial real estate, these programs will attract over 100 members monthly. While on this committee, Andy hopes to accomplish some excellent programs or topics that both develop and/or benefit the realtor. In addition to serving on the education committee, Andy will also serve on the 2015 Community Service Committee.
